De prijs is een erkenning voor de op maat gebouwde DAF XD 370 FAW, ontworpen en aangepast voor optimale laadcapaciteit, wendbaarheid en ergonomie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De erkenning werd op 27 februari uitgereikt bij de klant in Kooigem, nabij Kortrijk. Vanaf dag \u00e9\u00e9n kende de familie Van Glabeke hun behoeften. In nauwe samenwerking met Thomas Van de Veegaete van DAF concessiehouder TH Trucks\u00a0 en carrosseriebouwer Feytray NV uit Waregem ontwikkelden ze een gepersonaliseerde oplossing met prioriteit voor optimale laadcapaciteit, wendbaarheid en ergonomie, wat leidde tot de keuze voor een tridemconfiguratie. Ondanks de kortere wielbasis voldoet deze compacte, laag gemonteerde laadbak met Palfinger-laadkraan perfect aan de laadvermogensvereisten, wendbaarheid en ergonomie van het bedrijf. De wendbaarheid is vergelijkbaar met het bestaande 6&#215;2-voertuig, zelfs met een iets langere laadbak, aldus chauffeur Lieven Van Glabeke. De XD-cabine biedt uitstekende ergonomische toegang en het beste directe zicht in zijn klasse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Van de Veegaete, Account Manager bij TH Trucks, werkte samen met Van Glabeke om de configuratie van de truck te optimaliseren. Door carrosseriebouwer Feytray NV er al vroeg bij te betrekken, kon er snel en effectief worden opgezet. Via de functionaliteiten van het BBI+-platform, zoals het delen van 2D- en 3D-voertuigtekeningen, Same Info en Optimum Truck-methoden, wisselden de klant, dealer en carrosseriebouwer snel en effici\u00ebnt essenti\u00eble informatie uit. Deze samenwerking resulteerde in een geoptimaliseerde truck die af-fabriek werd geleverd en dus een snel opbouwproces bij de carrosseriebouwer. en perfecte oplossing voor Van Glabeke.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lieven, vrachtwagenchauffeur en tevens zoon van de oprichter van Van Glabeke, is erg enthousiast over zijn XD FAW: &#8221;Hij is uitstekend te manoeuvreren, maakt krappe bochten en laadt als een fluitje van een cent.
